Council Of European Energy Regulators

The Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) was founded in 2000, and is based in Brussels, Belgium, as a collaborative association of Independent Energy Regulators in Europe. 30 regulatory bodies participate in this Council as members (28 from Member States of the European Union, Iceland and Norway) and 2 regulatory bodies as observers (Switzerland and the Republic of North Macedonia). The Council of European Energy Regulators comprises a General Assembly, Board of Directors and 6 working groups.

The Energy Regulatory Commission, with its participation in the Council of European Energy Regulators as observer, is acquiring experiences for the implementation of the Third package of legislation, and the challenges that the EU Member States are facing with regards to the creation of a single, competitive, efficient, and sustainable internal energy market in the European Union.
